There are many tests utilized at TSP to give accurate and important information. One of the most applicable and useful is functional testing. Functional testing is simple. We figure out what movements hurt and see how we can change that. More importantly, we figure out what movements you want to do that are hurting and use that as an outcome measure to get you better.
Acupuncture is a tool utilized to target specific and deep structures that may be creating compensations in your body. We here at TSP use neurofunctional acupuncture. Electrical stimulation is sent through the needles giving you a comfortable and relaxing sensation while giving your body the opportunity to recover. This approach allows irritated nerves to fire better which leads to a global improvement in how your body moves and functions.
